Chevron approved Western Australia Wheatstone 29 billion Gas project. Australia is set to rival the largest LNG supplier. Wheatstone has joint ventures with
Chevron 73.6 per cent
Apache 13 per cent
Kuwait Foreign Petroleum 7 per cent
Shells Australia 6.4 per cent

Employment will rise as the Wheatstone project will create 6500 Construction jobs. This will start in November if this year. This project will take up to 6 years and once built it will create $20 billion in Government Revenue over the 20 life span of the project.
